Time to Party
The weekend is finally here and it is time to party! We are going to start the "Time to Party" series with the Make-Up Tips and Application.
Time to Party: Make-Up Tips:
- Don't over dress, know if the party is casual or formal.
 - Before applying primer, try rubbing ice on your face for a couple minutes, this will tighten pores and allow the make up to last for a longer period of time.
 - Waterproof mascara and eyeliner? This will prevent your make-up from running.
 - Deep-colored eye shadow will add intensity.
 - Add some gold!

Application of Your Party Make-Up:
- To ensure that your make up will last you all night, apply a primer prior to your foundation. Don't forget your eyelids.
 - Concealer is always good, it can cover a break-out. But make sure that the concealer is fit to your skin.
 - When applying foundation, make sure to apply it to your neck and chest, especially if you plan on wearing a low cut dress.
 - Blend the foundation as best you can, blending can be a problem under the chin, if you are not sure if you have blended well, ask a friend, and if it's not ask them to help you out.
 - To finish off your foundation add a clear face powder. Everyday face powder will work or you could use a powder that has a little shimmer.
 - If you are going to add a blush, now is the time to do it. Add a blush that compliments your skin tone. This will provide a little extra glow to your face.
 - The smoky eye is the perfect addiction to any party look.
 - start with a neutral base eye shadow from lash line to brow - this will be your lightest color.
 - use a dark eyeliner along the lash line. (I like to pair smokey eyes with a little bit of a cat eye).
 - Apply your medium shadow on the lid and in the crease.
 - Add a black color to the very corner of the eye to give it a little extra pop.
 - Apply an eye pencil to the eyebrows to help define them. Use feathery strokes so as not to look overdone.
 - Add the mascara of your choice. (waterproof, maybe?)
 - Don't forget to add your favorite lip gloss. A shiny gloss is the best choice, unless you did a softer eye than you may be able to play with a brighter lip stick.
