Who doesn't like tailgating? But tailgating involves cooking, cooking could rain on your party but not with these easy and delish recipes.
Crescent Pizza Roll-Ups:
What you'll need:
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 40 pepperoni slices
- 4 pieces of Mozzarella string cheese, each cut in half
- garlic powder
- pizza sauce
- Preheat oven to 375
- Unroll crescent rolls into 8 triangles
- Place 5 pieces of pepperoni on each triangle
- Put half string cheese stick on top of pepperoni
- Roll crescent roll around the cheese
- Sprinkle garlic powder over the rolls
- Place on baking sheet
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or till golden brown
- Serve with pizza sauce
Crock pot BBQ Chicken Sandwich
- 3 pounds of boneless chicken breast
- onion powder
- smoked paprika
- garlic powder
- salt & pepper
- 8 oz. of beer
- 32 ounces of BBQ sauce

How to make it:
- Season chicken with 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 a teaspoon of pepper.
- Add to crock pot
- Add beer and 24 ounces of BBQ sauce
- Cook on low for 8 hours (great to make while you are at work, come home and your ready to leave for the party.)
- Turn off the heat
- Add remaining BBQ sauce
- Move the meat around, pull pieces apart
- Let sit 10 to 15 minutes.
Jalapeno Popper Dip
What you'll need:
- 1 package of cream cheese, stored at room temperature
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmigiana reggiano (Parmesan). grated.
- 1 can sliced jalapenos pickled. drained.
- 2 jalapeno peppers. chopped
- 1/4 cup panko break crumbs
- 1/4 cup parmigiana reggiano, grated.
How to Make It:
- Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, parmigiana reggiano and jalapenos in a bowl.
- Pour into baking dish.
- Mix the panko break crumbs and parmigiana reggiano and sprinkle over the dip
- Bake in a preheated 350F oven until the sides are bubbling and the cream cheese has melted and turned golden on top, that's about 20 minutes.
Buffalo Bites
What you'll need:
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 3 1/2 ounces of cream cheese. softened.
- 1 3/4 cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped great onions
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs. lightly beaten.
- 3-4 cups Corn Flakes cereal. crushed.
How to make it:
- Preheat oven to 350F. line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese and hot sauce, cheddar cheese and green onions.
- Roll a heaping tablespoon of mixture into a 1 1/2-inch ball and place onto a plate or separate baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Place flour in a shallow dish.
- In a second shallow dish, place the eggs.
- In a third shallow dish place Corn Flakes.
- Dip each chick ball first into the flour, then the egg and ending with the Corn Flakes.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Chocolate Granola Bars
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup oats (not quick oats)
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (minis work best)

Time to make it:
- melt the butter, peanut butter and honey in a pot over medium to low heat, stirring constantly.
- turn off the burner when melted.
- Pour in the cup of oats and the wheat germ. Stir till combined.
- Wait till it cools and stir in the coconut and chocolate chips. Or go ahead and dump it all right in. The result will be more uniform chocolate taste.
- Pour into foil-lined 8x8 pan and stick in fridge
- Once cooled, flip bars onto a cutting board and cut to size.

Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps
What you'll need:
- 4 boneless, skinless, chicken breast
- 1 (1 pound) package sliced bacon
- 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
How to make it:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cut chicken breast into 1 inch cubes.
- Cut each bacon slice into thirds.
- Wrap each chicken cube with bacon and secure with a wooden tooth pick.
- Stir together brown sugar and chili powder.
- Dredge wrapped chicken in mixture.
- Coat a rack and broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place chicken wrap on rack in broiler pan.
- bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
